JumpYard MONITORING POLICY

+ -

At JumpYard, we are always working to improve. An important part of our work is camera surveillance, where we can use footage from, for example, an injury or accident to learn how these can be prevented and avoided in the future.

JumpYard parks are equipped with camera surveillance to increase safety and security for our guests and staff, as well as to protect our assets and prevent theft and vandalism. Surveillance takes place:

• In the park – or in other areas where activities take place – to detect injuries with the aim of:
– Learning more about how and why accidents and injuries occur so that they can be prevented.
– Using recorded incidents for insurance, health, and/or educational purposes.
– Monitor staff actions before, during, and after accidents for improvement and training purposes.

• At the entrance and reception area with the aim of increasing security and monitoring any break-ins, thefts, or robberies.

JumpYard strives for openness and transparency regarding how we collect, process, and share your personal data. As a supplement to our data protection policy, we have drawn up this camera surveillance policy for our parks within the EU/EEA (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iberia). The legislation governing how camera surveillance may be carried out is set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is also regulated in Denmark through the TV Surveillance Act.

Our parks are equipped with camera surveillance that records images and, in some cases, audio. If a person can be identified through the recording, the recording constitutes personal data.

The purpose of camera surveillance and the processing of recorded material is to prevent and investigate crime, accidents, and vandalism, as well as to assist the police and the prosecution service in cases of suspected or confirmed crime. The purpose of camera surveillance is to increase the safety and security of our guests and staff, and to protect our assets.

The legal basis for our processing of your personal data in connection with camera surveillance is based on a so-called balancing of interests in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. We have assessed that the need for camera surveillance outweighs the intrusion into personal privacy that camera surveillance may entail for you as a guest. Our assessment has been made with particular regard to the fact that accidents occur, which we want to prevent in order to ensure as safe a guest experience as possible in our parks. In addition, we have ensured that only a limited number of people have access to the recorded material and will only use the recorded material in accordance with the purposes stated above.

+ -

Recorded material is only stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with this policy, but for no longer than 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted. We may store the material for longer than 30 days if necessary to comply with legal requirements or protect legal interests, e.g. in connection with legal proceedings.

+ -

Your personal integrity is very important to us. We have ensured that only a limited number of employees have access to the recorded material. Your information may also be processed by so-called data processors, i.e. companies that we hire in connection with surveillance, security, camera systems, fault reporting, and customer support. These parties may not use your personal data for any purpose other than to provide the services they are hired for, and only under the terms we specify.

The recorded material is stored in countries approved under the GDPR. Information may also be processed by law enforcement authorities, e.g. in connection with police reports or legal proceedings.

+ -

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. You also have the right to request that we correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object to our processing of your personal data.

If you believe that we have violated the rules for processing personal data or have other questions about personal data, you can contact your national data protection authority.
